80 grit sandpaper should do it. Make sure you dry sand to amke it even more aggressive :D

Seriously though, there are others that are stronger than the consumer lines. Maybe Adam's Grey professional clay from DD? I think that Clay Magic makes a more aggressive one too.

Oh, another thing you could try, but it will render your claybar unuseable afterwards.

I was detailing my sister's black Chevy Blazer ZR2 last fall, and there was SO much contamination on the lower panels, that claybar just wasn't enough to remove everything. I sprayed the panel down with Stoner's Tarminator, let dwell for a few minutes, and then used the mother's claybar. That made good work of getting everything out, but it sort of disintegrated the clay.

Note that this was for excessive tar buildup. I don't know what you're trying to remove.

i'm just trying to remove all the fallout ect. I did half the hood three times and then the baggy test and i could still feel the crap imbedded, although it was considerably better then the other half.

How much time do you spend on one area? I maybe clay a 12x12 area until the contamination is gone. If you are trying to cover too much area at once, you may be missing spots.

i spent about ten minutes doing a 1' x 2' area probably could spend more time just thought there might be something that could make the job go quicker, not rushing just a little quicker theres alot of paint on this truck...lol

No reason to spend 10 minutes on one area. That's a hell of a long time considering the amount of surface area you are working with. I'm sure you tried changing directions already. but you're problem is you're not getting enough "grab" I think. What's the temperature at right now while you're doing this? I've found that clays don't work nearly as well when it's cold outside.

This may be a stupid question, but what did you use for wash solution? And what previous paint protection was on there? I don't know if the process would be affected by still having the LSP on the car.

Bryan has suggested claymagic red. I've never tried it, but it is a more aggresive type of clay, and you should be able to pick it up at Carquest. It's the first one that came to mind for me, but since I have no experience with it, I wouldn't feel right recommending it. My local Carquest has it, although they rape you on price. They want 45 bucks a bar. You can get in online for half that. I'd give it a shot if the warming of clay doesnt' work for you.

Also, try not to use too much clay lube. You can err on both sides. Too little, and you can mar the paint. Too much, and it doesn't do it's job to it's full potential. At least that's been my experience.

i used ONR to wash and there shouldn't be any wax left on as it was only megs gold class and that was a few months ago, i wonder if i can get the clay magic some where in Canada i went to the local parts source and the only have the megs and i dont think chris at eshine carrys it.

Chris's Riccardo Blue is more aggresive than the yellow. Maybe that would be a good option. Again, I haven't tried it personally. I see that eshine still lists it as Mild, but maybe it's more aggressive than the others you are using.

There's also a BOGO on the riccardo clays right now it appears... I'd be all over that if I were you.

Oh, and there is Carquest in Canada:

    CARQUEST Auto Parts - Canada

I didn't see your City/province location, so I couldn't search to see if there was a location close to you. You can find it on that link though. Even if there isn't one close, maybe they can ship to you.

There have been tests that show the lube will directly affect the aggressiveness of the claybar. I forgot to mention that in my previous post.

Yes, get the Riccardo lube too. You can try your other ones to compare and confirm, but I'd use the recommended lube with the clay.

Or maybe he has a suggestion to a different, yet still effective, clay lube to use with the blue claybar.

Autogeek sells the DP clay. I suggest that clay bar. I used it to reomve road paint splatter on a MDX a few months back. worked great. Used Meg's last touch (1:1) for the clay lube.

On another note, has the vehicle ever been clayed before? The reason I ask is because there are usually 3 levels of aggressiveness, and then hard and soft clays. If neve clayed before (which seems to be the case), a hard clay is needed. Try the least aggressive of course.

Here is the clay I mentioned above:
DP Universal Detailing Clay lets you clay your way to a silky smooth finish with a bright glossy shimmer!

Here is the lube I use:
Meguiars Last Touch Spray Detailer is the last step to making an excellent first impression! Wipe away dust and fingerprints with Meguiars Last Touch

    Hope this helps!!
