I have a great friend who works for Dewalt, and I need to take him up on a few favors. I basically have the choice of a couple free tools. I only really detail a few cars, mostly mine, and I am finally getting into the world of electric rotary polishers. In the past everything was done by hand, and my cars never hit a car wash, so heavy correction, or correction at all, was never an issue, however after a few years, I feel that my M3 could benefit from a rotary. Since the Dewalt is free, I figured it would be good to start there. Free is always better. Do any of you guys love/like your Dewalt rotary's? Can someone give me a few models I should be looking at? I appreciate your time in advance. Thanks.
The only Dewalt rotary that I know of is the 849: Amazon.com: DEWALT DW849 8 Amp 7-Inch/9-Inch Electronic Variable-Speed Right-Angle Polisher: Home Improvement I've never used it, but it has some good reviews.
Yup. That is the one. I think I might give it a whirl. Just looking for some feedback from guys who have used it. Thanks again.
