Well, I'm running out of my DG 111 that I've been using on my white truck. I figured why not have the guys at my favorite detailing forum help me pick out a new wax/sealant to use. In order of importance 1. I need an lsp that can shed dirt very well from a power washer 2. I need something that will last through multiple touchless car washes (in the winter months) 3. makes white paint shine. I look forward to what you guys reccomend.

I've had really great durability from megs 21 2.0 real easy product to work with. most people on hear probably will recomend Menz Powerlock, but megs has been extremely durable fro me lasting from early november through to late march with lots of touchless washes in between, very economical too.

It depends on how much time and mony you would like to spend. However, I would use:
1- Blackfire wet diamond (sealent)-great durability, looking, and depth.
2- Poorboy's Natty's Blue paste wax (great depth, easy on/off).

I would agree if you want to spend as little as possible to go the Collinite route.

Lowest price option Collinite 845 and you can top it will Collinite 915 which works well and adds more gloss, and is really slick

Swissvax Sheild is an outstanding wax designed for all season, much more expense but really great results.

I like that i can apply it with my PC (on my truck thats a godsend)

I'll look into that one possibly

I have BFWD and I prefer that on my wifes black suv, on white i tend to like the plastic sealant look as for the poorboys lol, that stuff doesnt last at all in the winter

Swissvax shield is out of what i was wanting to spend, i was thinking more of a sealant to be honest

    hmm that fk1000p sounds interesting..

thank you all for your suggestions keep them coming

I have seen great results from Collinite 476S Detergent Proof Auto Wax x 2 on a few lighter color vehicles, and I have applied it to my '09 Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Grand Cherokee work vehicle and it looks super nice. This product beads like crazy.

    Good luck with your research.

G|Tech C1 (good for some time then)
G|Tech C2 (cheaper and still last long and sheets dirt well)

    Hey RNick
Collinite 845, 2 coats. 2 days later, top with Zymol Glasur. I learned the Glasur from you. I'm just giving it back. It really pops as a topper for the 845.

I'm running Powerlock on some cars, 1z Glanz wax, or Werkstat AJT for winter sealant. They're all cheap and get the job done over the winter months.

Poorboy Natty's Blue has got to be the worst recommendation: that stuff won't even last through one wash.

Menzerna Power Lock and you're SET!

Im doing a paintwork test of two products right now on wifes Nissan Blue Sentra, drivers side split in half whole car has Powerlock applied on paint work, now the other side I applied
Blackfire Wet Diamond liquid Sealant with Polycharger on passenger side. The polishing was done before with Meg 105 with Poli seal added for lubication to work Megs 105 not to flash so fast, used the blue cryo pad with this combo, the cryo orange finishing pad used with Merzerna pf to bring the luster back to paint work, wow what a combo, then applied the above products, washing it up tommorrow,,going on 3 weeks now. Up date on beading tommorrow..:applause2:

if you want some serious durability - then you need to step into nano coating. G|Techniq C1, Cquartz, or Optimum Opti-coat would be your options. This stuf meant to LAST! I already have some Cquartz, and will be getting G|techniq C1 soon. I'll be testing it next spring, once I get a chance to polish out my car...

Ultima Paint Guard Plus+ comes to mind. Cant get any easier to apply, great looks and excellent durability. Another WOWA that I'm trying out now is Optimum Opti-Seal, again easy to apply and looks good. not sure about the durability yet but I hear good things.
