    Evening fellow detailers,

I need some opinons on Nanolex and how it holds up to/ warrantied against touchless carwash. My local dealer ran my car through their touchless carwash despite numerous time asking them not to. The car still looks ok (have not washed yet), but I cant find a MSDS (figure because it is made overseas) to see if their car wash chemicals damaged the coating. What is your thoughts of the damage done?

    Thanks,

    Derek

    Derek,

Who did the coating service for you?

Over time the harsh chemicals from an automated car wash will take down some of the protection of the Nanolex.

It was done by my local detailer in Baton Rouge, High Performance Detail. Audi did the wash despite multiple times asking them not to. I would have died if it was my R8.

When I used 22ple, I could take it through a touchless (only in winter) and get about 8-12 washed before it was noticeably removed from the surface.
