Doing further research on the mutes HP 100 I found price differences to be great on each site. Some will list the unit for $1300.00 and list the Psi at 100 and others as much as $1600.00 with a Psi of 120 Frankly, I don't really trust the credibility of the sites that post psi at 120 because I think that they r just trying to drum it up a little to collect a couple hundred more dollars, especially since mutes has the unit at 100 on their website description page Any feedback on this from anyone?
I would just contact the manufacture about the psi ratings. A lot of extractors have different pump choices, thus different psi ratings. Mine had a choice of 100, 150, 200, and 500. Personally I feel that too high of a psi rating injects the water too far into the carpet and can cause the underlay to get wet and cause odours.
