Not normally a huge fan of detailing interiors to be honest, I'm far more at home with a rotary polisher and some paintwork to play with!!! But just to show I can do some work on interiors, and the S60 does really encourage you to take your time inside a car... But I decided to tidy up the S60's interior as its just such a nice place to be, its even nicer when its clean! So, the leather was cleaned using Z Leather Cleaner and then conditioned using Z Treat after first heating the leather - using a hair dryer on the back seats and just the seat heaters on the front seats. The Treat was applied uisng a terry cloth foam applictor and left for about quarter of an hour and then buffed to a dry shine with a Swissol Terry Cloth. This application was repeated three times over the past week and has left the leather nice and soft and supple feeling. The interior plastics were treatedto Poorboys Natural Look - applied using a microfibre cloth and then buffed to a satin look shine using a clean microfibre... I'm a big fan of this product for the way it leaves the plastics looking nice and clean without leaving an unnatural used-car style shine. All plastics and the mesh alu trim treated to this. Finally, the matts were hoovered, cleaned using Autoglym Interior Shampoo and then hoovered again to lift the pile. The results... This interior is for me one of the best designed and most comfortable places to be, espeically on long journeys which was the main selling point of the car for me... The seats are comfier than my living room, the sound system is better too!
Dave super Job...spotless...leather looks like new..but you have a problem there....when you took the seats and stuff out to clean the interior..you put the steering wheel on the wrong side....LOL... It looks great...spotless... Al
Very nice, good job on the interior :applause2: :applause2: these vehicles are are quite something. The interior in these vehicles are well built and like Dave said very confortable. I really like the stripes on the carpet :thumb: Thank you for sharing with us eace:
Very, very nice job! I really like that leather interior...just wondering, why is the steering wheel on the wrong side...I mean on the right side???:applause2::deadhorse:
Great job! :giggle: I notice the steering wheel too. I even scrolled back up to see where you were from :giggle: Great job!!
Cheers for the kind words The steering wheel is on the right side  Apparently, what is also strange about this car from the point of view of my girlfriend (American), is the manual 'box and the rev counter that stops at 4500rpm!
