Getting ready for the winter time After 2 coats of 1z einszett glanz wax (love this stuff!!), jambs were sealed too, all seals and trim were treated with AG V&R, AE tire dressing( love how shiny it leaves tires!) After Lusso Oro was applied, I love how easily this wax is applied and buffed off great product!
I love the looks of the MK4 Jettas, in fact I've been looking for one. Not half as nice as yours though, mainly because mine will likely end up looking like, it went through a meat tenderizer. lol
great job ... looks really wet. Your Jetta looks really nice. I would lower it, but knowing that you live in Canada, you probably don't want to do it.
Yeah my favourite generation of jetta's next to mark 2's, I find that these car's give you alot of bang for your buck, heated seats, moonson audio, sunroof's, nice interior finishes, great looks, lot's of room, wide range of engines from fuel economical to hella fast and alot of small details that make these car's unique Thank's hamza. Thanks Ken, I really like your tire shine if im going for a shiny look, I usually spray it on and let it soak into the tires for a couple hours. My mom's accord which I did yesterday still has really shiny tires! I was surprised too :yikes: Trust me I do want to lower it and the roads aren't bad at all around me, it's just the fact that I spent close to $600 on starting this side business which has stopped me from buying coilover's. Probably starting next season i'll have coils Thanks dude!
Putting on the same wax for my winter prep on my daily, let's see how long it lasts in a salty canadian winter! If I can give you a tip, get some stainless steel coilovers, anything else WILL rust!
Ya, you can't beat 1000k+ on a tank. The only thing I don't love, is the torsion beam rear suspension. But weighing the pros and cons, I can get a mark 4 much cheaper than a 5. That and mk 4's get better fuel economy than the 5'.... Plus, I don't think a mk 5 would look good with hail dents. lol
Thanks Phil, glad I bought that Lusso Yup i'll be looking into some KW's most likely None look good with hail dents haha, and yeah mk5's aren't really my thing either. Right now im at 476km and just hitting half, 85% highway and 10% city, about a 20km trip one way to school, lot's of uneven terrain Thank's Bryan. Here some shot's from today Around 10am this morning sun wasn't coperating and then... The whole top of the car was basically dry just a few droplets that fell on the car when I got out to open the garage
Hail dents maybe unavoidable since the car will be a chase car (I'm an amateur storm chaser). Which is why I've been surfing Copart for pretenderized Jetta's. lol
Very nice car, great job on the detailing. 1) If you havent already had it done, VW will replace your front fenders under warranty for the rust, I just noticed the perforation on your right front fender. 2) What is AE tire dressing? Im not familiar with it 3) Im also a fellow Ontarian, I live in Mississauga and also love my VWs, I have a 1990 Corrado and 2007 Audi A3. Keep it up!
Oh ok I see now, yeah jsut find a pre dented one thanks and 1) Handling that right now should be another 2 weeks 2) Autowerkes Exclusive, Ken's lineup 3) Say hey if you see me at a show I'll be at all the big ones, and i love corrados!
