I got inspired on Friday and decided to clean the grout in the kitchen. I had done small parts of it before and wanted to do the whole job. I spent about 1.5 hours doing it in the late morning and it was doing an incredible job..got it looking perfect! Then at night I got at it again. After about an hour, the vacuum quit. The side of the unit felt hot. The same motor pushes the steam out as well as operates the vacuum. There is no reset button on the unit. I have to wait until tomorrow to see what their warranty treatment is like. It is under warranty until next April. It sounds like I have to pay for the shipping, which is bullshit...that's what the fine print looks like. That will be expensive to ship it from Canada (or Detroit for that matter) to Florida. Any suggestions for cheap shipping?? BTW..here's my unit: http://www.myvaporclean.com/gaia.htm
richy, I wish I could help you the way that you help me. The only think that I can think of Is ask them who they use for a carrier and see If the have an inbound discount code or something to that effect. Speak to a manager. Play on there sympathy. It's sounds like any help that you get may come from them. That unit doesn't like that light to me. Sorry, richy, anything other than that you're going to have to pay out the ole pooper...Good luck
Dang, sorry to hear your loss Richy. I guess it's better to have separate units, steamer and extractor. Keep us informed of any updates!
Oh man do I love happy endings! (I'm not talking about the end of a massage either, P1et!). Today I spoke with Patty from Vapor Clean and she advised that in 99% of the cases with the Gaia, it's simply a matter that the hose becomes a little loose from the connection and that's why it doesn't work. I called her from work so I was anxious (in the true sense of the word) to get home and try it out.....IT WORKED!!:applause2::headbang::mounty: I'm as happy as a nerd in a library!! giddy as a schoolgirl...you get the picture. Now I can get back to finishing my grout...now where's that coffee???:coffee:
Did you look something like this? :awesome: Sorry :lol2: Congrats Buddy I am so happy all is well! :applause2:

Ooh don't you love happy endings :thumb: Glad to hear the steamer is operational again, now back to work :spank:
