Well, I finally made the plunge and tooka advantage of Phil's Sale.

I'm still waiting on the 3m BP. It should be here soon! Thanks Phil! I like the font on the new stickers alot.

 

Some really good stuff there you're going to really like the 3m BP when you get it. I also really like the 1z Klima clean.

 

What is the difference between the 3M backing plate and the yellow one that is on your machine in the pic?

 

The 3M backing plate has a layer of pliable foam between the hook and loop and where the actual backing plate screws in.

 

mmmm... 1z Klima clean works well.

 

The Makita is new, too? What rotary were you using before you picked that up?

Well you're in good company, I just bought a Makita too, was using a PC and UDM for over 2 years (surprised the UDM hasn't exploded on me yet, LOL). I can't wait to jump into the world of rotary polishing.
