So I've been hearing about a sealant called Rejex for sometime now and finally decided to give it a go, I know Daniel uses it on wheels almost every detail and so do a lot of others, but I never really heard people using it on paint because they don't like it compared to Powerlock. I picked up a bottle and did half my car with each. Wash via CG Maxi Suds II w/ a bit of CG APC with awesome new foam lance! (Still cant get the foam right:shead: ) Clayed using Adam's fine claybar Polished w/ Menzerna SIP w/ black pad. 2 coats Rejex on the passanger half and 2 coats of PL on drivers side. Overall, I liked both products. I think PL was just a tad easier to apply and buffed off MUCH easier then Rejex, but it still was quite easy. PL is slicker, but VERY hard to tell any difference. Look wise they looked identical, but Rejex seemed to shed water better. I'll be testing durabilty so I'll update this thread once we get some weather. Side by side Powerlock Rejex I know wheels/wells are filthy, just wanted the paint clean!! Overall sunshot (hood has LOTS of rock chips) Rewashed using CG Daily wash, water beading shots after rinse. Powerlock beading Rejex beading Rejex after water sheeting Powerlock after water sheeting Thanks for looking!!!! :thumb:
I liked using the powerlock better because it was easier to apply/remove. But rejex shed water better. We'll see about durability. Ill update with that in a week.
Thanks for the review, I just got an order from Ken that included Rejex, can't wait to use it. -Kody-
I would guess if rejex does good on wheels it had a high heady tolerance. So I'm putting mt money on rejex
i have both and find they are both about equal. for customers daily drivers beaters i use the rejex since i got a case on a super sale. like the green color on powerlock for visual references with my old tired eyes.
