First up on the mods Bilstein PSS10's I was pretty skeptical at first as I had PSS9's on my 03 Audi RS6 I would have probably preferred KW's on that one, took the leap on the PSS10's and have to say I'm extremely happy with the decision to go with the PSS10's on the B8 S4. Take a look. The PSS10's: Fronts out The dial is a huge improvement over the PSS9's The fronts are in (just about) Front of car after we dropped the car off the lift (definitely too low) Before rear (sorry pretty bad shots) After rear (sorry pretty bad shots) Before fronts After fronts After a few miles the car settled and we had to adjust it a few times to get it right, I experienced some rubbing with 3 in the car so we raised it and took the front wheel liner bolt off. nice buy!! ive been running PSS9s on my M3 for 2 years now, and the ride is just about perfect (incl. sways) i hear ya on the KWs, they are undoubtedly the coilover to have for euro cars these days - but ill be going back to japanese coilovers on my next car. Ive been having alot of problems with the PSS9s on the front because they re-use the oem upper mounts
Phil me thinks it is time for some BBS tightness to replace the stock wheels(RSGT/CH-R) would do the trick. I am so jealous of that car...........
I've been talking with BBS and they don't even think its coming in till late June....I hope they get them here its a hot wheel. Thanks guys. I had tons of trouble with my PSS9's. Sorry to hear you are having the same.
You will see really improvements with this pss10 kit. I had mine at 10 and on approx 112 mph on the very lite turn, the DSC has not stop the gas. But if you will setup on 10, there will be no comfort in town if you use the car daily
