Hi all I said I would post my experience and some pictues of my car once I got a chance to use the Werkstat products. Sorry but no pre work pictures as the wife took the camera when visiting the kids. Also I am a newbie and by no means a pro. all work was done by hand or with a PC using various pads. I used Dawn in the wash to strip all previous waxes and it seemed to work well. The paint was already in pretty good shape as I used Menz Power Finish and Glanz for the winter (I'm in Calif. so the winters are mild compared to what most of you experience. Phil recommended this and it worked great and was so easy to use). A friend of mind had most of the Workstat products so I thought I would give it a try for the post winter blues. Started with Prime and used the PC with grey pad. Went on very easy, let haze and buffed off not much work. Then to the AJT. Not sure if the Prime helped as a sealent and base but the AJT went on very easy and buffed very easy ( 3 coats). Put the car in the sun and it was to bright (Seal Grey). Applied 2 coats of CJ and I like the wet look. My thoughts based on my experience and what some of you have weighed in on: 1) Although I like the final look, it was to much work 2) Beading was not super tight but it was very uniformed. 3) I did not experience any difficulty using the product that some of you reported but it was time consuming. 4) I think I'm going to try Blackfire products. I have a friend that just had his Red P car done in their 2 step process (Wet-ice over Fire) it was awesome..... I'm not sure that I loaded the pictures correctly but here it goes and I hope you like them:
