Mtm hydro foam lance quick connect issue

I just purchased a mtm foam lance along with a new gas pressure washer a blackmax 2700psi, for some reason it just wont exactly connect to my wand while my other 1/4 adapters do, called mtm they sent me another one but told me its a 50/50 shot of working i thought that was funny when its the same one they use in their promo video for the lance. Any insight on this? Did i miss something? Any help appreciated.

 

I would just go to homedepot and match up one that fits . But how about a picture of what they sent and what you have that works . That would help.

 

Picture up in a few, i told the nice gentleman from mtm should i just go to home depot? He told me he doubted they have what i need there go figure lol

 

Had the same issue, I just went to Home Depot and bought one. Works like a charm, seems mtm is not cutting the grooves right.

 

thats funny that you say that its the same thing i told him ill be sure to check home depot out tomorrow, have some new detailing supplies that i got at a raffle that ive been eager to check out but cant find anything on it its from the maker keystone that sells recycled car parts and called platinum refinish soap looks and smells like maxi suds

 

Yeah just go to home depot and you will be fine .
