    Emile Welcome to Detailing

Here's my brief overview of my review, I will try to expand once I get more time.

    Suds: 4/5
    Slickness: 4/5
    Cleaning: 4/5
    Value: 4/5

The shampoo only needs 1 ounce per gallon so the dilution ratio is pretty standard. It makes plenty of suds as I fill up my wash bucket, and it maintains the suds throguhout my typically-slow car washes which is a very good thing. It cleans dirt and grime quite easily and I noticed two things during the wash: One is that this shampoo is very genttle on the wax, and two is that this shampoo's gloss polymers bond to the vehicle instantly. No need to let the soap dwell on the surface or anything like that. As quick as you can wash is as quick as the gloss comes out of the paint. Slickness during the wash is excellent...not the best, but definitely one of the good shampoos.

I filled up my wash bucket with CR Spotless water and I rinsed the vehicle with Spotless water to best evaluate the beading/sheeting, as well as the gloss left behind. Ultra Gloss seems to leave a nice shine on the paint and provides very nice water-beading protection. It made the car extremely easy to dry and from what I've told, the gloss polymers are supposed to be fairly durable and actually eliminates the need to follow up the wash with a QD or spray wax.

Overall I am very happy and I am getting ready to place my order a quart of Ultra Gloss, as well as a quart of Super Foam and Wash & Wax just to try them out.

    Thanks,
    Emile

Thanks for starting this thread Emile.

Just to add to your review. IMO, Ultra Gloss has a little bit more cleaning power than other maintenance soaps. I also noticed the it took me less time to dry up the vehicle. My mf was less grabby when applying OCW after the Ultra Gloss wash.

Wasn't this why people didn't like CWG because it had glossing agents?

Anyone compared the MSUG with CWG?

CWG is too strong for a maintenance soap. It's stronger than CWC, which doesn't make sense.

I don't know how to explain it, but CWG glossing agents don't "rinse off" as well as MS UG. IMO, the polymers found in MS UG and Glossworkz provide an even coverage.

^i'd like to know as well.

But more specifically, i'd like to know how it is compared to 1Z Perls?

i was deciding on either 1Z Perls or Ultra Gloss but i went with the 1Z Perls because i wanted to test out all of the Einszett stuff

If you like Ultragloss (I knew you would) then don't waste your money on the Wash &Wax. It's a good shampoo but once you use Ultragloss it doesn't even compare. Super Foam is good for more aggressive cleaning. I've been using Ultragloss and Super Foam exclusively for over a year now.

I'm not gonna post my review because I think they should come from you guys and it'd seem biased from me, but I want to give a big thank you to JL for turning me onto this soap. :thumb:

i've been using ms ultra gloss for some time now and like it alot, for the same reasons stated above, but i've been drying my car with dg's aw or ocw. the difference to me is a sharper sealeant like shine with aw, and a deeper wetter look with ocw. anyway i like ms ultragloss car wash.

I knew you could use AW to aid in drying, but I didn't know you could use OCW. Anyone else have experience with OCW and drying?

I've gone through a bunch of OTC soaps, CG CWG, CG CWC, Tropi-care's soap (And I embarrassingly forgot it's name now), and now Ultra Gloss.

It makes a ton of suds which makes everyone happy. It's also pretty slick, and the formula is dense. One gallon will give you a lot of washes. This is easily my new favorite maintenance soap. I highly recommend it because it's a great product, and it's cost effective unless you decide to pour it all very generously to make suds.

i forgot to add in my post that i use ms ug in a, soap dispenser thingy i bought in home depot for $10, you fill this plastic container, it hold about 4 oz of soap, and there are many settings on the water nozzle, i use the shower setting, i wet the car down first with the jet setteng using just water to remove any dust or grime from the paint, then i use the shower setting to foam down the car with the soap. this thing works really well for me, it's probably not as good as a foam gun for$60 but it works, sorry to go on about how i go about using msug, but that's just how i use it. i can get two washaes out of filling the container with soap.

So I got a chance to try out the MSUG today. I shot a video of it as well as a follow up to the panels that had Aquartz, Cquartz and Opti Coat applied to them. It worked very well with these nano coatings. Admittedly, I did not use a strong solution of the soap as I did not need to. My observations of the soap were like a lot of others who have used it. It suds up well if you work it but more importantly, it has a nice slippery feel to it and does a great job of rinsing away the dirt. It hardly seemed to stick to the surface at all which I believe is more a factor of the coatings than the soap. It's a very mild soap which is nice. It definitely ranks way up there. Thanks again Kyle for taking this on. I would have never tried it if it weren't for you.

This is the SHIZ! Not kidding, I have P21S wash, CG CWC, CG Glossworkz, Optimum Car Wash, Meguiars Gold Class, and then this! Sadly, I have a 75% gallon of Glossworkz and a 95% gallon of CG CWC, and plenty of the others left. This stuff beats it all, leaves the beading exactly the same, while glossworkz makes the paint sheet due to the polymers in it.

    Slickness: MS UG
    Suds: MSUG
    LSP Safe: About even

After the winter ORDER UP! 1 Gallon of MS UG, 50 MF Towels, 4 Ricardo Clay Bars and some other goodies.

I've done it a few times, just as you would AW. Works fine, never had streaks even on glass. I believe that AW may be a bit easier to use if you're in direct sunlight though, if that matters at all to you. And I think OCWs durability was a bit longer, but it's so hard to tell when using spray waxes to dry.
