Quick question. Im detailing a GSXR and wanted to know about cleaning the tires. Usually on a bike i just use Adama all purpose spray and clean all the gunk off. I have never had a issue with it but wanted to see what everyone else thought

If you ride you know you never, ever put dressing on the side of the tire b/c it's used when you lean into a turn unlike a car tire. (I'm not sure if you ride or are just doing this for a friend). All I've ever done on mine is clean the sidewall with APC.

you can use a bunch of different stuff . . . . . . generally i use a APC such as Meguiars or something compatible. Only thing to remember is to never dress the tires on a street bike. If a client wants to do that on their own let them be but for liability purposes i suggest steering clear of such.

    Hope that helps.

hahaha Richy we posted at the exact same time LoL and the same exact thing at that. I don't ride but have learned from reading and what not to never dress a tire.

Yeah i get that^^^ But im thinking that cleaning, with all purpose cleaner, is not dreasing the tires just removing dirt and oil. So Am i ok?

yeah APC is fine, as long as you don't dress them.
