    Hello again my friends,

I am having a hard time finding the right degreaser. I just need something that is not too expensive, could be bought in gallons, and will not mess up the paint.

I'll be using it on the exterior of the car before the wash to remove extra contamination so that I have less clay work to do.

if you want cheap you could try zep citrius. works pretty well i use it for engines and when i work on work trucks and that type of stuff. i have used it on paint with no effects.

I like to use P21S TAW as I know it comes paint safe right out of the bottle. No having to mix paint safe dilutions..

$35.00 is a small price to pay to be sure your paintwork is not going to be damaged........... a gallon properly diluted can last along time. Searh on the internet, i get it for far less then that.

Zep Citrus is a good choice, I use it on exteriors all the time. The only thing I've heard people having issues with it on is vehicles with single stage paint and a couple instances on chrome molding, and then it was just issues with spotting I believe.
