I was approached by a couple who are Chevy die hards to the bone, as this car demonstrates. As the gentlemen has a 700HP Camaro this is his "Girfriends" car lol..................as I did see this car @ last years SEMA show in the Magnacharger booth(Along with BIng & Dave and Tim Coats).

The hood and trunk had custom paint and was very nicely done, but still had sand scratches and tracers to be corrected, initial shots of the defects.

Took some readings..................wish all cars I did had this much material to work with!!.

Initial steps of claying and correction of the front end and all areas to be wrapped by Premier with clearfilm.

    Embedded compound from the painter.

After the car was wrapped, I cleaned the wheels good but did not wash the car with fresh film on it per Premier's request. Dirty ADV.1 wheels.

Sonax FE was used and let to sit on the half cleared centers and raw polished barrels, then agitated with brushes until clean.

    After the final rinse......................."Cleaness".

Clay step for the rest of the car.

50/50 of the top, there was a "Little cat hair problem".

    Whole top dialed in.

Sand scratches on the rear trunk as well.

Cutting through the defects with M101.

It bears mentioning Jeff from Immaculate helped with this detail as well. All in all the car was not too bad but did need aggressive correction is some areas and lighter refinment on most of the car.

    Sun pic time!...........

@ Bob - that trunk shot is total win. The paint looked great under the lights, but under the sun......"shutdown status". Fun time workin on this one with you Bob.

Great work Bob. I'd get rid of the "Ed Hardy" wheels though.

hey bob, I thought the posi 200 only read plastic ( so I was told by the defelsko rep), have you done something so it can read metal? Thanks!

This car came out seriously nice. Cool to see it getting love on DB. "Other" places seem to be filled with "hatorade" drinkers.
