Hi everyone, I have recently sold my house and moved to an apartment while we buy another house. Does anyone here have a refer all to anyone that does mobile car washing with onr and a two bucket method as I don't have the time to so this myself at the moment. I had previously taken care of my m3 and my wife's x5 myself. Thanks so much. Matt
theres Show Car Detailing (Richard Lin) 92807 and there's also Innovative Detailing (David Sylican) 92780 give them a call and see who can help you. both of them have shops and i've seen them both on mobile jobs as well. hope this helps.
Hi Matt, We are open Tuesday to Saturday (8:30am to 5:30pm and after hours by appointment and closed on Sunday and Mondays.) Due to family commitments we are open every other Saturday so I can spend time with my son whom I don't get to see very often. Yesterday happened to be my birthday and my wife wanted to spend the day with me so I took the day off which is very unusual. Just a heads up though, based on the subject of this thread, we don't do mobile car washing, but Innovative does so you might be better off with David anyways. I know he was on vacation this past week, so he may have been difficult to get ahold of as well. Richard ShowCarDetailing.com
Seems my last post here got put under an anonymous account. I can be contacted through my account here. Richard Lin ShowCarDetailing
HI Richard, Thanks for the reply. I spoke with Eric Schuster of Envious detailing and it doesn't look like mobile car washing is very popular because there's not much money in it. I get that. I think I might just have my wife sacrifice her x5 and take it to the executive detailing place across the street from where we live in the South Coast Metro area or the mobile detailing place in the parking lot of the spectrum. I will likely suck it up and just ONR my M3 myself since it's smaller and easier to manage at an apartment. Thanks for your help. Matt
There are plenty of mobile car washers and they keep us flowing with business because they scratch up all the cars they work on and eventually the owners wise up and seek out a detailer like us. There is no reason to sacrifice your wife's X5. I would say get it Opticoated, then use the local brush free car wash i.e. gas station car wash that uses water jets to keep it clean, and do it weekly to keep the contaminants from bonding to the coating. Forgo the spray wax option, since it will be coated you won't have to worry about getting wax residue on all your plastics, cowling, vents, glass, etc.. I used to live in an apartment and trying to keep my black car clean was a huge chore. I had covered parking but no garage and just the weekly gardener using his leaf blower would make my car look like a mess. All you can do is avoid abrading the paint as best as you can so you don't constantly put in swirls and scratches and don't even bother trying to get a car cover unless you plan on parking and leaving the car for long periods of time. Richard
I have decided to just suck it up and ONR her X5 myself. Hopefully only every 2-3 weeks since it is garaged 100% of the time and she doesn't go out much since we have a 5 month old at home. Opticoat would be a little too drastic for me for a short term situation. My M3 is another story.....outdoors all the time, and will probably have to ONR it once a week, ugh...... Thanks for all the help Richard. Matt
