mitsu lancer with finger holograms

This may be the strangest defect on a car I have some across yet. This car suffered finger holograms, the picture will explain everything. The client won a gift certificate for a single step polish, which I bumped to a 2 step.

yes and he did it in a hurry because it started to rain.

 

I donated it to a charity event for a prize. I use a polarizing filter to cut out the glare.

 

Wow that was trashed! Came out great nice save.

 

also, there are other filters that will "create" that sunburst for you, but imho they are cheap and dumb. A polarizing and UV filter should almost always be on your lens as long as you can use filters, and you are outside. NO reason not to use them!

what in the hell is a finger hologram,,,, great work brining it back BTW.

 

Marks left by a persons fingers after they tried hand polishing with a MF towel. Hence the 4 impressions all over the car.
