right after i washed my microfiber towels (brand new) they dont seem to be as soft. any ideas why or how to change that?
They should be washed in hot water. I could not say if the woolite is the cause or not, never used it, always have used a microfiber detergent. Mine have always come out soft doing it this way.
you could have hard water...that will make a towel feel hard....or you mat meed to do 2 rinses ...I use just Tide or Wisk free and they come out real soft..I do a double rinse also...and I hang dry them since they use fabric sheets in the dryer and it does build up on the dryer drum ..so I do not want towels contaminated .. just wash in hot water and either use Vinegar in the rinse or do a double rinse....and if your water is real hard ..well nothing to do there...or get a water softner Al
I thought about the fabric sheets residue being left in the drum and filter. I wonder how much this really affects the towels? I may have to buy another dryer
nope some of the best water in the country where i am, detroit river, i guess ill just buy some microfiber detergent and try that out
