Miracle Detail - 85 hour detail on Morgan Aeromax

Hi Guys,

Well, this has to be the most expensive detail ever, all the way through the detail I would contact the client to let him know how I was progressing and how many hours I had spent on the car and client just kept agreeing for me to carry on. I had two Aeromax's in at the time, and both were going to the same concours event, the other one was brand new, and this one had done 10,000 hard miles, mainly with track use and hammered by the press etc.

This Aeromax is the original press car, so a bit special, especially to the customer!! He's even now thinking of getting the whole car repainted and re-trimmed inside and keeping it as purely a show/concours car!!


The car has been in my unit for quiet sometime, its first show was Goodwood Festival of Speed, then onto the Morgan Centenary Concours event where it came 1st in its class and
4th overall, then it came back to me as someone (not the owner, someone who drove it) trashed the newly refurbished wheels, so the wheels have been on and off the car more times than I can remember. I've spent well over 20 hours on the underneath and the arches, paintwork correction is over 20 hours as well, 6 layers of polymer protection and 4 layers of Crystal rock wax have been applied. Engine was cleaned and detailed with various parts being polished. Interior and leather cleaned and a conditioned... 6 layers of protection on the wheels (carried out twice).

what polisher you using now?

whats the reason you didnt apply CR by hand like u used to on MC12 for example in your other video?
