I've had a lot of interest in the Migliore Primo Wax lately. Migliore Primo Blend Wax

I was just checking to see if you guys would be interested in a group buy?

The price is normally $99.99 plus shipping.

If I can get 5 people the price would be $85.00 plus shipping.

8 or more people and I can do $80.00 plus shipping.

I will do $5.00 flat rate shipping no matter how many tins you order only for the Migliore wax plus I will throw in a free Super Fly towel. International shipping will be extra.

    Sound good? Anyone interested?

it used to be in a glass jar. I saw a pot today that was in a square metal tin. The glass jar was twelve ounces. Is the new tin the same size?

The price has always been the same, Migliore changed the size of the container towards the end of last year. I still pay the same price I did for the for the 12 oz. size.

So you pay the same for half the wax??

    WTF...

I know that isn't your fault...

    Yes.

The retail price is $99.99 for all of the Migliore dealers. The way I understand it, the cost to make it went up.

I'd cut it from my site if they pulled something like that.

    Hi All,

    This is Don from Migliore.

Justin sent me an e-mail to clarify the size of Primo. For the record, Primo is 8 oz. It's our fault Justin had the wax listed at 6 oz, please don't put the blame on him.

I can understand why some are up in arms about the sizing change. To be quite frank, any business needs to adapt to survive, as we do. We didn't feel that Primo had a good presentation and the size was not working for us.

You will notice the new size and price reflected on our website, so it's not a surprise to anyone who purchases. Please take advantage of this great deal Justin is offering!

If you have any additional questions please e-mail me, Don@MiglioreWax.com. I would be glad to answer any questions you have.

just curious, why the price is so much different between competizione & Primo? both of them contain wax nearly 50%. Competizione only 6oz and Primo 8oz (confirmed by Don already) Why make competizione so pricey?

    thanks

Honestly, I thought the price of Primo in the old container was too low. You had 12 oz in a nice glass jar for 99.99. That equates to about $8.33 per oz. You have Original and Frutta in 6 oz pots at $49.99. That equates to the same price $8.33 per oz.!

Once you factor in the cost of the Primo glass jar compared to the simple plastic pot of the other 2, you were actually selling Primo for LESS per oz. than the original and frutta blends.

I just wanted clarification, I didn't want to start an argument, or paint the situation in a negative light.

Justin, any chance you are going to carry the migliore QD and tire shine? I've been interested in them recently.

I was really interested until I read they did away with the glass jar.

I use Primo, and while it isn't cheap, I have found that it makes the paint pop more than other brands that I have tried (Pinnacle, Zymol, etc.). I recently uploaded pictures of my '04 Gallardo after a Primo application,if you want to see what the applied product looks like.

I recently order Migliore's "package" which includes their Liquid Wax, Trim Protectant, Wheel Seal and Tire Shine for $70, and I will let you know what their tire product and other products are like when I have a chance to try them out.

maybe it's in the oils, the competizione says it contains exotic natural oils?

I appreciate the clarification... it is nice to hear the reasoning from the manufacturer... at our level it just looks like you blatantly raised the price... but I understand now!

No worries! I can completely understand your perspective as a consumer.

You just reconfirmed why I love Detailing Bliss, everyone has an open mind. There is rarely any heated bickering going on here...which is great.

Thanks for the kind words, Tad!

Funny you say that, when we had the glass jar all we received were negative comments. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side :D.

Again, no worries! PS: Our Original and Frutta come in 4 and 8 oz sizes :D.

Competizione is a completely different blend from the ground up. Carnauba is just one of many ingredients in a wax blend.
