    Hi Chris / DB

Im getting Micro marring using poli-seal with Uber green polishing pad and Uber blue finishing pad. My garage is 45 F. Im working on a 2011 brilliant black ( flat black ) Audi A4 .

    heres my process

    1. prime pad
    2. wipe excessive polish off the pad
    3. apply 3-4 dots of Poli-seal
    4. Working on 1 ft x 1 ft area
    5. Spread at speed 3 (2) fast passes
    6. Polish speed 5 (3) passes
    7. Finish speed 4 (2) passes

I clean the pad or switch to new pad after every panel.

am I doing anything wrong? or its cause of its a black car? could it be dust from my garage?

I had no problems polishing with Flex 3403, Uber green Menz powerfinish and refine with Uber black 3M UF before.

    any help is appreciated

i asumme speeds are for DA polisher?
is it hard to wipe off? could it be marring from washing car or thats already been there and poliseal is not aggressive enough to take it off?

I'm lost, after all the cars I've hit with poly seal even adding polish II to the mix at a 70/30 mix I've never seen any marring and these customers I see alot doing maintenance washes on em. Not sure since your process sounds very good and close to mine other then the pads used.

It's Chris@Optimum...I can't log in but my old account works. I think your over working it and you may need a softer pad on some dark colors.

That Brilliant Black paint is very soft. But you shouldnt be getting micro marring with the uber blue pad.
