The directions for OC say to wipe the panel after application to make sure it's level. After you wipe it down, is the MF towel pretty much trash or is it still cleanable? If so, how do you guy clean it. Do you put it wit your other towels? Or wash separately? Need to throw away the MF used for OC. You can wash the MF's used for HB. I put them in a bucket with a strong APC mix to let them soak. Then wash with the other MF's with Micro-Restore (or whatever you're using).
Im not so sure about this - I have Opticoated a few vehicles, used a nice microfiber to wipe them, soaked them in a bucket of Microfiber wash, then washed them and they are fine. I think the idea of washing them right away is the key to not ruining them. Dan F

I look carefully at the towel and feel it with my fingers, and have not felt or seen any hardened traces of product stuck to the towels. Dan F
Hmmm interesting. I just purchased OC 2.0 and was wondering the same thing. Can the Yellow foam Applicator that is supplied with the product be reused aswell if washed immediately after using OC? Or does the same rule apply? Also on last question... I ordered the OC 2.0 to seal headlights after they have been restored. How long can you keep OC in the syringe after the first application? Will it harden and make the syringe useless after it's first use? Clogging to be expected? Thanks guys! -Beach
Sure you can wash the foam applicator, if you want to save a buck. That's the reason it comes in a syringe, so that air won't get to the product and harden.
