Is the Master Blaster worth the price? I can get one cheap right now, and was wandering what everyone thinks about them.

I can get one right now for $175 off of a friend that used it once before he sold his Camaro. I was either going to get this or the air wand attachment for my leaf blower. I have a leaf blower already. As a matter of fact it is the same one that the Air Wand comes with, but I got it for $20 on sale lol.

I like mine and you would think if people did not like them they would be selling them but do not save it. Is it worth it? It depends on your personal needs. It is very nice and can do other things like blow off dust, etc. If ever bought a $100 or $300 wax, the Master Blaster will last a lifetime....It is all about what you think it is important but recognize I do not buy $100 waxes but I will spend $$ for something well made that will last. I never had much luck with a leaf blower (Metro can control air direction) but others like theirs.

I just received mine today and couldn't wait to use it. First thing out of my mouth when I got it working properly was "Holy )@#ing shit". I didn't look at the manual too much but I took a look at the little accessories that came with it and I attached the one with a very small opening thinking it would concentrate the air even more, but it did was very weak. So i took I was holding the hose and slightly loosened it off (still holding it over the opening with 2 fingers and I flipped both motors back on and shot the accessory over the wall and into my neighbors yard.

the master blaster is rated at 19amps, did you guys have to upgrade your garage socket?

I tripped a 15A circuit breaker in a few minutes but my garage was 20A (got switched it during a kitchen job) so I corrected it. I even checked the wire itself in one of the outlet boxes to be sure. I run a refrigerator on the same circuit so 15A was obviously not enough.

Most building codes (yes one of those silly gov'mint regulations) require 20A GFCI circuits in the garage but it just depends on age, the builder, etc. ). Kitchens are also supposed to be wired for 20A as well. You also need to watch out for what else is on the circuit since sometimes it is not dedicated just for the garage.

Depending on where your panel is, you may be able to get one added fairly easy.
