Hi There Mercedes 300 SL 24 , one of the most beautifull roadster ever for me, 3.0 L with 231 cv@6300 rpm. Even today many heads turns when the Merc rolls , and now with a ful detail even more The car has 55000 miles , not a lot but it´s a car for the weekend for the owner. Moderatel swirls , water marks , some scratches and haze paint was the menu. Here the preparation stage before polishing , after been washed and clayed of course :thumb: Im going to show some panels to give the general ideia , of the car´s condition. Front fenders ,same method on both , orange pad with IP x 2 , polishing pad with IP and blue pad with PO85RD , all with PC Before: After: The other side took the same treatment Before: After : Some pics of the during stage Now the huge SL hood , fully loaded with swirls and i had to use the rotary on the cutting stage, the rest is equal on the last description. 2 hours of hard work , i managed to get this finish and i remember , at this time i didnt washed, sealed and waxed, just Menzerna finish The back of the car, here its a rotary work no doubt about it, yellow cutting pad with IP , i thought using PG...but IP raised to the ocassion After the cutting stage , i use a polishing pad and rotary also with IP , 1200-1400 rpm , followed by pc to remove one hologram and get a perfect finish on the edges Finish with the amazing PO85RD from Menzerna, by PC One more photo of the before The Sl almost done with the polishing stage and ready for a good wash. Now the after, Engine Little dirty and some tape of precaution Engine degreaser to remove all the dirt, and Hyper dresser to condition. Plastics and vinyl conditioned with 1Z Balsam and 1Z Gummi . THe result Interior Vacuum , cleaned with APC and followed by PB NL , the leather with 1Z Leather Treatmen , and some Mothers Plastic POlish on the acrilic. Lets go to exterior The LSP were Factory Sealant and P21S wax. The nice rear All the chrome cleaned with 1Z Universal Cleaner and polished with 1Z Chrome This front is amazing , i just love it This photo taken a day before ,only with FS from CG Now on the Palmela Castle Many sun and too many ppl Catch a friend taking some pics The rims polished with 1Z PP, PB WS and the tires with Optimum Tire shine More pics outside the Castle Its over , i hope u enjoyed .
