Does anybody use this? If so what is your primary use for it? I just picked some up form Phil and I'm hoping my primary use is going to be as a cleaner post correction steps to inspect my work rather than rinsing the car off, drying and then an IPA wipe down before applying a sealant. I am not sure how it will work for this. I would just like to be able to save time by not taking the vehicle back outside for a power wash rinse if I can avoid it. Does anyone have any experience with this product? thanks!
I've used just as you described. After my final polish, I use a MF and wipe down before applying my LSP. So far my LSP's have been holding up well,so I would think the wipe down is working
Good product; I use it some times. It's good to remove compounding residue (which tends to be need more buffing off than finishing polishes) and prep the surface. It's essentially an alternative to ISP; but functions more like a quick detailer product.
It is similiar to the Carpro Eraser. Love both of them, but hate the price of both of them. Wish I could by a 5L jug of Eraser for maybe $40. I do like using either better than IPA mix.
I haven't tried Top Inspection, but Eraser is an amazing product. I think the 1L refills aren't too bad, $20 per L.
You can use either in place of rewashing the car, but you will still have to deal with the dust in the seams and cracks which compressed air will help with. So if you've been compounding and it's been messy you might want to rewash after that. Then Menz TI or Carpro Eraser to clean up after any medium/finish polishing.
top isnspection is a nice product but it is quite expensive if you ask me. IPA works quite well for me and is more cost efficient. Now if you are planning to go with a coating - eraser will be your best friend.
