Had this Audi A3 in for a single stage polish and finished with two layers of Menz Powerlock. Enjoy.

I don't know, those metallic flakes look pretty muted and the paint looks kind of hazy... It looks great, beautiful car and prep work as the car looks pristine!

Are the flakes popping or muted? From the look of those pics, it seems that Powerlock brightens the paint.

I used PL this weekend and my car is Phantom Black Metallic and it looks amazing. The flake is popping on mine.

But most of all, it made my car real shiny..lol

I've tried it on two black metallic cars and found it lightened the black a bit. This car was charcoal grey metallic and I think the paint looked really good with the Powerlock on it. Very wet looking and it did make the flake pop. I was in a rush to take the pics and unfortunately wasn't able to capture how good it looked. I tried taking a few of the hood but they all looked washed out because of the sun. As I said, I didn't care for it on black, but it looked good on this and I'm sure would look brilliant on lighter colours.

Looking good and sharp, but how about the durability? What could be expected from these two layers?

    Kind regards,

Hey Ken, so it is only good on grey colour cars?

Great work Ken, I also found it to be a bit muted or "light".

Powerlock users, how can i clean this thing off my foam applicator? I have been soaking the foam applicator with detergent for at least 3 days and it still feel oily.

you should dedicate a single pad or applicator to applying powerlock. I have tried to clean pads with lsp soaked into them and they never come out perfectly clean.

I used dawn power dissolver on my black LC pads and it took FMJ right out.

yeah, but i tried soaking the applicator use for colli 476, 845, wolfgang 3.0, jetseal, m-seal for just 2 days and it doesn't feel as oily as powerlock. Thats why i am curious whether am i missing anything..

right powerlock might have something in it that makes the pad feel that way and it might be harder to get out than other lsps, like i said i think your best bet is to have one applicator or pad for applying powerlock if youre having trouble cleaning it.

Maybe try a soak in CG Grime Reaper or Meg's Super Degreaser? (diluted of course)

Ken, what did you put on the tires?

How about soaking your applicators in Tardis?

    JUST JOKING!

I get 845 out without issues with a lot of patience using Power Dissolver. Let it sit for an hour or so, and then just rinse rinse rinse...
