Menzerna Powerlock on my Mustang GT

I decided to wash my GT after I came back out of town it was only slightly dusty so I snowfoamed it with Maxisuds II and then applied Powerlock to it the next day no claying was necessary (Thanks Karl for the trade). I decided to apply 2 coats, to be honest this is as easy or easier to apply and remove than BFWD and the look it looks great. Its was a nice product to work with, I am not surprised it was because my experience with the Menzerna polishes that I have are top notch. Now just time will tell on how long it will hold up I am guessing around 3 to 4 months, but I mostly likely will strip it to apply Wolfs Chemicals Body Wrap. Here are some pics of how it came out with only 2 coats of Menzerna Powerlock. I also found that a little goes a long way with around 1.25 oz or less I applied 2 coats.

WENT TO THE CAR WASH UP THE STREET TO DRY IT WITH PRIMA SLICK AND SOME CG MONSTER MICROFIBERS. I DIDNT WANT TO TAKE OUT THE HALOGENS THIS TIME FOR LIGHTING, NO WASHING WAS DONE THERE WHAT SO EVER;)

Has anyone called you about your car for sale? I was wondering why you had dollar signs on your windows and then it hit me that you were listing your car for sale.

Remember, keep preaching this stuff on mustang forums. People there are going ballistic thinking BFWD is now gone.

Nicely done! I normally use about 0.5 or so per coat, but found that by machine speed 3- spreads like butter! Couldn't get thinner than this. And then removal is simple no pressure MF on surface.

Wow, that came out great....... Glad you liked the MPL. I was going to say this, I think the BFWD wiped off about the same for me the other day, I put a thin coat on a car and let it cure for about 20 minutes in 100 degree heat, wiped off like nothing was there. BUT the MPL imo looks wetter then BFWD.

About the longevity, I had two coats of MPL on my Sti before the Cquartz, it was on there for about 3 monthes, no top offs nothing..... other then QD after washes, and it took me two attempts to strip it, it is VERY durable. And yes, you use very little, it soaks in to the pad real quick though.

Danny; for the age of your stang...it looks insane! Good work and thanks for the pics.

Also curious about the writing on the windows.

I did but I was hit by a truck and the mustang had to go to the bodyshop to get fixed. They ended up removing the entire coating because they "detailed" aka hologramed it

    Thanks man!

    Thank you!

Yeah I have gotten calls for it but still no serious buyers.

    Thanks man!

I posted this same thread on MM so it should help them see that Powerlock will be a great replacement for BFWD:)

Thanks, and no I wish lol, that pot is for deep frying:)

Thanks alot I try to keep it looking good the writing is because its for sale. Basically I did it as a sort of free advertising but I am going to remove the writing soon, since it looks tacky and put it up on Autotrader. I am in search for a terminator cobra in competition orange.

    I wish haha:)
