Hey guys, here's my latest detailing quest:) Lost my camera in charleston while working on a customers few cars few weeks ago, but this week the guy in charleston found my camera in his garage and kindly shipped it to me:) So, let's get started on the M3

upon arrival, the wheels were quite grubby
    [IMG]
so P21S gel was let to dwell on the wheels for 15 minutes while I worked on the Engine Bay
    [IMG]
So then I covered all electrical parts in the engine bay with black plastic trash bags (pretty water proof!)
using P21S TAW, I scrubbed down the engine bay and engine shuts with a SV brush
    [IMG]
    after rinsing
    [IMG]
then rinsed off the P21S gel, which left a nice clean surface to work on:)
Next was to scrub down the tires with Megs APC cut 1:1 for tires and wheel wells (STRONG STUFF!)
so, after rinsing down the engine I cranked her up to let the engine heat dry out the water, so it ran for 10 minutes while I scrubbed the tires and arches, so before shutting her off, I rolled it up a bit top scrub the flat spots I couldn't get:
Next was to give the wheels a nice going over, so since the inners haven't been cleaned since...who knows, I shot soem P21S TAW behind the spokes
    [IMG]
I bent this brush to get behind the spokes:)
    after all the brushing
    [IMG]
Next was to freshen up all the grubby areas like trunk gutter and door jambs
    [IMG]
    P21S TAW gittin 'er done!
    door jambs
    [IMG]
    gas flap
    [IMG]
next was to clean up under the rocker panels, so APC was sprayed under each rocker and under the rear bumper, then scrubbed clean with a medium stiffness brush, which did the job well
    [IMG]
So after 2 hours of prepping (phew!) Finally ready to wash her down
It may be tedious and time consuming, but must be done properly!
so after a thorough rinse down, I foamed it up using my trusty lil $12 foam cannon!
so while this dwelled, I used the back side of a Shmitt to scrub the bugs off the windscreen
    [IMG]
after a few minutes, the Adam's car Wash was ready to rinse off!
so now I disconnected the PW and switched to a firehose nozzle
    [IMG]
as I love rinsing, I rinsd her down with the heavy water output by this nozzle,
    [IMG]
then just for fun I foamed her again but this time with the foam gun having 1 oz of Megs hyperwash and the rest H2O.
while the hyperwash dwelled, I brushed clean the grills
    [IMG]
so then I proceeded to wash the M3 with 2 oz of P21S TAW mixed with 1 oz of Adam's Car Wash to strip any and all remains of wax
    [IMG]
finally at the end of the wash, I used this lambskin 4 finger mitt to wash the valence areas
    [IMG]
after all the rinsing and twice foaming, also rinsing the mitt after each panel, the soap stayed very clean!
emptied me out of TAW and APC!
    next was claying the car
    hood
    [IMG]
    roof
    [IMG]
    trunk
    [IMG]
after the rest of the car, wheels:)
    then sleep!

in the morning, I went to my go-to combo for 1 stage correction:
I think many ppl here use this combo, and that's no coincidence! It works great!
I wanted the hood level, so I propped it up using my firehose nozzle
    [IMG]
levels ok, but no worries with this combo
    [IMG]
    broken down nicely!
    all the details
    [IMG]
so the camera card ran out of memory so I stopped the pics during correction, plus the car was not in need of any thing dramatic seeing as I fully corrected it a year ago, and the owner uses 2BM to maintain:)
the 203S left a nice gloss!
finally wiped down the paint to remove the polish oils, so the wax could bond right.
    nice depth for this silver!
    trim fed
    [IMG]

thats all the pics I have, but I sure got busy trying to touch everything up at the end so the customer could pick it up.

    thanks for looking!

washing is my favorite, so I tend to take more pics! Thanks!

haha thanks Carlos! The floor was done by a company here in town ( I believe it is epoxy, but this company does them any color... we went with "applesauce cake"...I think we chose it for the cool name to be honest!)

tried to be thorough as possible!
