Anyone come across a serious case of melted rubber on PPF?

If so does anyone have non evasive solutions that do not involve damaging the PPF :)

    Appreciate the help.

    Cheers,
    Nick

Would a steamer have an adverse effect on whatever holds the ppf film onto the paint? I have very little experience with ppf film, so I'm just asking.

A dry vapour steamer should be fine, just keep it moving, Alternativly try a heat-gun or a hair-dryer

Thanks for the reply guys. Appreciate it.

Dave provided the suggestion of Tarminator. I'll give the steamer, heat gun and tarminator a try.

    Cheers

For one of my shows, they had out team situated really close to the drift competition. This resulted in melted tire particles all over the car and the clear bra. Basically I just gave it a good clay job and removed all of it with no issue.

Sorry guys I meant to say I will be giving the solutions a try on my truck.

Thanks for the additional tips. Thanks for the warning Zookie. I'll apply it via MF rather spray it onto the 3M to see if that makes a difference.

I'll add claying to things to try on the 3M.

    Thanks for the responses guys.

I would try clay, but you will most likely need to polish the PPF after.
