    Hi,

    Want to take advantage to the 20% off thing. What Megular products are best to be used for a wheel cleaner, except wheel brightner(heard that thing is so strong so not interested). How do you like them compare with others like p21s?

    Thanks,:worship2::worship2:

    Don't be afraid of Wheel Brightener. I use it every time I wash my wheels on my truck (which is NOT every week). You could use APC or APC+ on wheels at like 4:1.

    I hardly ever use wheel cleaners, keep p21s for when I do high end cars and some WB if I am dealing with really damaged wheels. Most times just soap and water to clean the wheels and possibly some Meguiars APC.

    BTW its Meguiars mate.

    I tried WB and honestly thought it was terrible. I am really happy I only purchased the 32 oz. sample from ADS. I thought their All Wheel Cleaner in the purple bottle OTC (oxalic acid based) worked better than WB the times that I needed something stronger.

    Kei, what 20 percent off are you talking about? Have you seen autodetailingsolutions.net?

    I don't think I'll be taking advantage of the 20% off because I don't need anything at the moment. I always have APC+ on my shelf, as well as Ultimate Quik Detailer. UQD is like an awesome QD/spray sealant in one. NXT Tech Wax Liquid is also a fantastic-looking wax at any price. I can't comment on durability but it's easy on, easy off, and it just looks amazing if you like that deep, dark, wet look shine. You can maintain NXT Tech wax with UQD.

    WB is some really good stuff but you must be careful using it and It should be diluted at least 4:1. I use it for those really stubborn jobs

    I've dealt with some TRASHED wheels but Meg's WB has handled them all. I like it, I use it on almost all of my details. Then I save P21S for everything else.

    Oops, I misread the post when I typed up my original response. I don't think that Wheel Brightener is as aggressive as people say it is. I mean, it seems to be great at cleaning wheels but people say it is very hazardous to your health.

    Checkout this YouTube video, this guy sprays it on a rim very generously and agitates with a brush and is working with his bare hands the whole time. He then grabs a bucket of soap and water and washes the entire rim with a MF wash mitt while the cleaner is still on the wheel, and then rinses everything off. Quite a bit of dwell time going on there and the wheel comes out clean and shiny.

    Perhaps a good alternative to Wheel Brightener is Poorboy's Spray & Rinse Wheel Cleaner, but you can't beat the price and dilution ratio of the Wheel Brightener.

    From what I understand, it is important to follow up an acidic wheel cleaner with soap and water to neutralize any remaining cleaners so there is no damage to the rims.
