i got this wax from agpatel about a month ago. now finaly had chance to try it. i did semi detail of my moms white civic and decided to test this glaze on it. thought on product: easy to apply with aplicator, doesnt leave that white residue when dried but you supposed to remove it before hand anyways. pot needs to be mixed to achieve same consistency because after storing it for couple weeks, ingredient separate (some kinda blue residue (oil? or something)). this is after mixing Smells just like regular wax easy to remove as far as shine, i didnt notice any improvement but it was applied on white car which was sealed with 845 looks like its been discontinued. ill be checking for durability every week and when my car is corrected ill try it on some panels too. i applied it on half the hood and half of trunk to see difference. other half of trunk and hood just has menzerna FMJ selant was bored. went outside and washed my fender. applied wax, easy to remove and apply once again. leaves nice deep wet look beads are not too big, maybe couse its on side panel so they run off easy after drying with water i am satisfied as far as look goes. we'll see about durability i guess i need to wash rest of the car
Glad you liked it, yeah that wax gets pretty melty fast, you can melt it on the stove using a double boiler then let it cool and will harden up a bit. Durability should be pretty decent from what I have read...enjoy!
If you melt it and mix the solvents, then let it cool it will solidify to a semi-soft wax. Kind of like soft butter.
My guess is that your tin is one of the batch that was recently sold on eBay. The soft consistency that you note is not the way M16 should be. It's supposed to be hard. But apparently something happened to the wax at some point during storage and/or transit. Many of us ended up with tins of M16 in this same condition. See this MOL thread. No one seems to know if the performance of the wax has been compromised. I guess we'll just have to find out for ourselves.
Yes this is correct, I used it on a panel on my GTI and durability was good up to 2 mo, then I stripped the car of all LSP and put something new on. I did not see a performance difference. At the 2 mo. mark it was still beading well and sheeting water well.
I did what agpatel said and its back to solid form, id say as hard as regular was, so boil it and mix it. Cool it down and it will be good

I have two pots in the fridge, even though my wife hates it. It gets so soft, so quickly. Annoying. But it's a great wax and leaves great results. You could have just washed your whole car since you were bored!
You can store it at normal room temp, or keep it in the fridge, if you like a really hard wax in the fridge, if you like a little softer then room temp. I keep one of my tins at room temp and like the way it spreads, it will not go back to that really mushy state again unless you keep it in the heat for a long time.
