Meguiars Gold Class shampoo

Im thinking of buying this stuff since I recently got a foam gun and im looking for a cheaper wash since i'll be going through more of it with the gun...my concerns are will this shampoo be harder on any LSP I have on the car? I currently use zaino as my LSP and I want to make sure it won't strip it off or anything, since I usually use the Zaino car wash.

its a very gentle shampoo. wont strip wax or sealant ..

 

Well, it will foam good, and it also is probably one of those bang for buck buys. I just picked up a gallon from Wal-Mart for like around $ 6.90, most other places are 2 -3 bucks more.

 

agreed its a very gentle shampoo, actually haven't used it in awhile.

wal-mart has some awesome prices on products now, Megs Mild Clay is just $15 other places its near $20

 

I've used them in both my foam gun and foam cannon. Its a great soap for doing all this. Megs Hyperwash is more cost effective but for OTC I like it :thumb:

Awesome, how much soap did mix in to get that kind of foam wih the gun?

 

1cm of soap, rest warm/hot water

8oz eh, looks like i'll have to buy this stuff in bulk! If I kept using Z-7 i'd be going through a bottle every 2 washes? Yikes!

 

gold class is a good bang for the buck deal. used it for years. now i have a bunch of other soaps i use since i ran out of the GC.

 

Very nice soap but my hands and arms itched like crazy everytime I used it. Later I found that I was allergic to it.:shead::shead:

 

You should definitely try Shampoo Plus, or Hyper Wash. Super Soap is also good, and will probably sud the most.

I'd get Megs Hyper Wash if you are really conserned about the cost per application. It's gentle, and it can be dilluted 400:1. It will work in a foam gun/lance at a different ratio.
Gold Class is not the best option for a foam gun/cannon, even if you are concerned about the cost. Or you can get Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II, or Citrus Wash Clear.
