Meguiars Even-Coat Applicator

Anyone use the even-coap apps for pre-wax cleaners or anything on paints? Is the MF pretty safe, ie. wont mar the paint. Looking for something other than a SV CF white pad to use for SV Cleaner Fluid and other pre-wax cleaners.

 

IMO, these applicators are a mess to work with....you won't get a decent grip on them, and you might accidentallylose them on the ground when waxing/applying.
I also think they are hard to get clean, even with microfiber detergents.. I prefer those with a small pocket, so they won't slip..

 

I am sure you will get getter result using a Autoglym Perfect Palm Microfiber Applicator which is the Blue one. The Red one is the foam applicator. I know Pepboys carries it both the blue and the red. Walmart carries the Perfect Palm Foam Red applicator but it might not work as well with SV cleaner fluid.

I have the foam one but never tried the MFs, is it a deep nap? I just got some of the megs ones in from my Ag order as they where cheap and if they dont work well on paint i can use them inside. May have to get a blue AG hand pad as I do like the foam one.

I dont actually own one but I was going to purchase the Perfect Palm Foam one. But as I recall the nap was not long it was short. Check out this link it will give you a better idea of how it looks. I think it should work well with SV Cleaner Fluid and Glazes also here it the microfiber version os great for cleaning the windshield lower sections but i would get a separate one as not to cross contaminate products.

Try zymol pre wax applicator i would said its the softest MF applicator in the market i prefer it over sv applicator all day long!!

 

i use the foam ap all the time and love it. whats a good source for the blue mf one? just recently fell in love with pre cleaners and the blue one sounds perfect for this
