So this product finally arrived over here in SF not very long ago (maybe two weeks). I got a chance to try it out on my car last week. I have to say, this is a top notch dressing. A little background: Ive been looking for just the right dressing for my trim. I love optibond and Armor All but I hate that it washes off so easily, and I mean real easy. Rain doesnt run down my car in an even coat so when it washes off the dressing you can clearly see where its been washed off. This annoys me even more as I would rather have it looking slightly dull but even instead of being dressed in some spots and not in others. I tried a few solvent based dressings but I just cant get into them. I havent come across any yet that spread well and are completely dry to the touch. Even with a wipedown they still attract grime like crazy. Which brings me to the Megs stuff. Ive been really excited to try it out but I had a feeling it would end up like optibond or the like. Well folks, I was completely wrong. It dries to the touch, spreads easily, looks good, and didnt run. Last night it rained like crazy over here. If I had applied anything else I know the trim would have been splotchy (or in the case of solvent dressings, dirty as hell). I came out surprised to see that the stuff IS STILL THERE!. Looks just like the day I applied it (about a week ago) with the sheen knocked down just slightly. Its only been one day of rain but that one day is still longer than my regular dressings have lasted. Im thoroughly impressed with this stuff. Tomorrow the forecast is more rain so I should have another update. Ill get pictures up a little later to show exactly what Im talking about. So if youre looking for a good OTC dressing Megs UP is the way to go. I just got some Blackwow from a trade so Ill be trying that out too, to compare.
