I got in an order of Megs 105 and Megs 205. I also got 2.0 foam pads Red, Yellow, Green, and three black. I have a black 2008 Nissan Altima that my buddy wants to get polished out. It has been well kept and has just slight swirling and a few minor scratches. What would be your advise on my step process. I have never used Megs 105 or 205 and am wondering if the red pad will be to much with 105 on black, or if the yellow or green will be all I need to use, and maybe finish with black and 205. Any help, would help.
I like this combination a lot. It really takes so many steps away from Power gloss! I would say like always, it is going to depend. You're going to have to try different combinations of pads and polishes until you get your desired result. Just remember that M105 might leave swirls and holograms around, so you will have to follow it up. I would start with M205 and green if I were you. If that's not enough, M105 and green. Then your last resort will be M105 and yellow. I have never worked with red pads before, but I think they have even less cut than blue ones which is probably better for finishing. M105 will need some cleaning up, so I'd finish with a black pad if I were you.
