MB clearcoat questions

I am detailing my 1st Mercedes Benz this Sunday. Is the clear hard on these cars?

It's a '98 E320 4matic.

Ihave Menzerna powergloss, SIP, IP, nano, and micro polishes, and 1Z intensive paste.

I also have ccs pads in yellow orange and white, 3m uk orange flat, lc flat white and black, green flat, 3m waffle in black and white, for pads.

will be using the makita.

anything I need to be aware of, or just try combos to see what works best.?

MB went to a ceramiclear CC in 2005, IIRC. Prior to that, it's a more "normal" clearcoat. You're probably good with any of your Menz polishes - I believe I read somewhere that's what MB actually uses at the factory!

VW, MB, BMW, and most of the other German OEM use Menzerna polishes as they are specially formulated for them (non-OEM polishes are not so marque specific)
