less than $170 shipped for the Makita is pretty cheap.

 

Thats great I won a brand new Makita 9227C on ebay about a month ago for $163 + $12 so it was $175 which I though was the best price. This is $5 less which is the best price I have seen.

I wonder if Makita has anything in the works for a new rotary, not that I don't love mine, which I do, it just would be cool to see. I guess when something works you don't mess with it.

 

I got mine from Amazon for 179.00 with free shipping . It included 1 backing plate and 2 Wool pads (9"). and bag....

 

Hitachi version is $160 normal price

 

That's the deal i was looking at .. one of the best out there.
