i ordered this shampoo from majestic solutions, based out of raleigh nc. i've used it twice so far and although i won't use it all the time because you have to mix it 4-8 oz. to 3-5 gallons of water, if you want a shampoo that not only gets your car clean but adds some serious gloss to it this might be the ticket, i have'nt tried glossworks by cg's and i will at some point, so i can't compare the two. i can only say try this, it's 19.95 a gallon but, i think, well worth it. it's red in color, smells like cherrys and gets it done imho.:applause:
Hmm, I would check that dilutin ratio, I think it is closer to 1oz/gallon or maybe a bit less. I only used it once and used it at around 1oz/1.5 gallons. Hope Karl will chime in as he uses this all the time.
i was reading from the label when i wrote that ratio. I don't use the amount they say to use, i use a ratio closer to what you said and have'nt had any issues. Just wondering if more is better. Prob. Not.
I'll use Ultra Gloss until they stop making it. Great soap. Very nice gloss. I usually use 1oz/gallon. I've got enough soap to wash a fleet of Greyhound buses, so its okay.
I liked it so well after trying it, I bought a 5 Gal bucket of it. It is a super slick soap. I also use 1oz per gallon. I think anymore then that is just waste, as I dont think it can get any slicker.
I, too, use roughly 1 oz. per gallon. I have a Griot's bucket, and simply fill the well in its grit guard with UG. I've been using UG for over a year now, and have experimented with the ratios, and see no reason to use a large amount per gallon as the label suggests. I cannot imagine it possibly getting any slicker or producing more suds. I actually tried using a LOT of it just last week, and noticed no difference. I'm glad people are liking it as much as I do. It's one of their standout products.
