Hey guys, krschultz has said enough great things in his post i am officially interested in trying some of their products...i am in need of the following items..any help with my questions is always greatly appreciated

Lemonator..can this be diluted with water? How strong is the lemon scent left behind, i really love using CG Leather scent after my details, so i dont wanna create a melting pot of fragrances that amount to the scent of $hit haha

Enzymatic...can this be diluted? What kind of stains incorporate a protein? Blood, some food, and such...? What bout like wine or kool aid?

    ^^^If diluted what ratio?

Leather and Plastic Cleaner....what dilution? Found to be safe?

Ultra Gloss shampoo..i think im set on this one :)

Im wanting to order this stuff semi-soon...any help i thank you!

The Ultra Gloss shampoo is good stuff. Super Green Stuff is an excellent apc. The Tidal Wave apc isnt all that great imo, not compared to the SGS.

I havent used the other products J, but those two (SGS, UGS) are good.

What other shampoos have you tried, and how does it compare to this? I think we should have a whole Majestic Solutions product thread:applause2:. Maybe, we need another site sponsor:graduation:

DG901, CG Maxi Suds, 1Z Perrls, Adams, Meg GC, SV Car bathe, Dodo soap, Meg's Hyperwash, CWC, CWG.
Some others that I cant think of right now.

The Ultra Gloss seemed like a cross between Maxi Suds and 921 to me. I liked the soap. It had a nice look when my car was dry. I really liked the soap.

How do you like it compared to DG 901 Heath?

Ultra Gloss Shampoo is like washing your car with a great QD its so shiny when you finish. A great maint. wash. The best shampoo in my aresenal and I've tried about everything.

Leather and Plastic Cleaner is great diluted 1:1 and can be used straight for really stubborn stains.

Super Green Stuff is by far the very best APC on the market bar none!

Bug Off is a great alternative to Poorboys Bug Squash.

Poly Protectant is very similar to 303 or CGs Silk Shine.

Quick Details is better than Stoner's Trim Shine.

Glass Cleaner is comparable to Stoners Invisible Glass.

Auto Body Solvent is great but not sure they will ship it.

Heavy Duty Carpet Cleaner (I don't think its on the website) is AWESOME. You can see it pulling the dirt up.

UltraGloss is a great soap. I think you'd be more than happy with it. Like JL said, its great for maint washes. It suds up really nice. Smells like a bottle of marachino cherries.

J, sorry about that, I was away from the computer for a bit, watching 24. Answers follow.

All ratios are in portions (water:product), unless I mention otherwise, for the stuff I describe below...

Lemonator I typically use cut 4:1. Very, very strong this way. I haven't seen it hurt anything, it just works. The smell is pretty strong, but seems to fade quickly enough. Smells like lemon life savers. The recommended strengths on the side of the bottle are as follows:

    Heavy Stain & Spot: 4:1
    Medium Soils: 8:1
    Light Cleaning: 15:1
Extraction Machine: 16 oz. per 5 gallons

I haven't used Enzymatic. I have, however, used "Extraction Plus" carpet cleaner. It's what Phil, one of the owners, told me I should try if I "want to buy just one." So far, Lemonator and Extraction Plus have been great. I also use "Super Duty" aerosol upholstery cleaner, which is great, and "Carpet Spotter HD," which I think is the one JL mentioned (more on that below).

    Leather and Plastic Cleaner
: I typically use it either full strength or 1:1. So far, it's totally safe - I haven't had anything but great results with it. Smells like a cleaner though. To fix that, I put in about an ounce of their "Clean Cotton" scent into a full strength bottle of the stuff. Then, I either use it as is, or mix it 1:1 into a spare spray bottle. Wonderful stuff.

    JL nailed it. My thoughts:

Ultra Gloss: I haven't used a whole bunch of different shampoos, but JL has. The guy who does the mixing at Majestic - Jimmy - told me, many months ago, "you need to try Ultra Gloss. Trust me." I do trust him, and he was right. Now that I've got it, I don't feel compelled to buy anything else for a maintenance wash.

    LPC I've already talked about.

SGS seriously runs circles around Meguiar's APC. It really does. I don't even use the Meguiar's stuff anymore - in fact, I should sell what I've got left.

Bug Off - again, JL is right, this stuff works like magic. In the warmer months, I wouldn't be without it.

Poly Protectant - I've never used it.

Quick Details - JL's right here too, it's a Stoner Trim Shine "work-alike." Long lasting. Smells like butterscotch. I don't remember how it stacks up in terms of price.

I've never tried their Glass Cleaner, but if it's as good as Stoner, I'll try it next, if it's priced well.

Auto Body Solvent - like JL said, I'm not sure if they can ship this, as it's got a big "FLAMMABLE" label on the bottle. But now that I've got some, I wouldn't be without it. Go into Show and Shine and check out the M5 detail JL and I worked on. There's some goo on the right rear wheel that not even Wheel Bright would touch. Auto Body Solvent took it off no problem.

The Heavy Duty Carpet Cleaner that I *think* JL is talking about is called "Carpet Spotter HD," and is in an aerosol can. It's astonishing. When you spray it onto a stain, you can see the foam come up in the color of the stain. No joke. Solvent based, so test in an inconspicuous area. I've used it on lots of vehicles now with no issues. So far, it hasn't done anything but amaze me. Spray it on, let it do its thing, and blot dry. That's it.

    Now, here's some more stuff...

Re-Kote: Plastic trim dye. Messy to work with - you need gloves, and you need to mask stuff off - but if you want something like a mirror housing to be BLACK, this stuff is great.

Spray Shine: this is a nice QD that I keep forgetting to give JL a sample of. Easy on, easy off, great shine, nice slick finish. Smells strongly of cherries.

Premium Wax: Two things going for it. The finish it leaves is amazing, and it's dead easy to use. However, I found the durability lacking.

    I hope that helps!

Ha! Not our intention, and they don't have us on retainer or anything like that! Just good, well priced products that I like a lot.

Definitely well priced. I thought Megs APC for $15.00 was a steal. I'm pretty much buying two of everything I need from them. Got a list made for everything I want:shrug:

    Majestic Solutions:
    - 2 Gallons Super Green Stuff $23.90
    - 1 Gallon Liquid Glass Cleaner Concentrate $11.95
    - 2 Leather and Plastic Cleaner $29.90
    - 2 Gallon Poly Protectant $37.90
    $103.65

IIRC, their shipping is rather cheap as well considering its shipping weight.

One more thing about Super Green Stuff, I love the stuff so much that I buy it by the 5 gallon bucket. Really cost effective this way and I get a 5 gallon opaque bucket with a lid and spout to boot. I have used it 2:1 on wheels, tires, wheel wells, engine bays, lower body panels and have even presoaked an entire mini van in it with my foam cannone before. The stuff is just so versatile. You can dilute it 4:1 and its great at cleaning door jambs. I also dilute it 2:1 and put in about an ounce to an ounce and a half of CGs CWG it makes an incredible wheel cleaner. Cleans like crazy and the CWG makes it really cling to the wheel to give plenty of dwell time.

Yeah, it is. The dilutions are generally on the labels on the bottles.

Not sure if you saw this J, but I did post some info that I got from one of the owners. Basically, they know the website is pretty lacking, and it's on their radar, but hasn't been a priority. Hiring a software guy to put something like they want together is very, very expensive.

Yeah i bet it is, i know that i couldnt just put a website together, im gonna need to hire someone this spring to put mine together.....so you think if im gonna just get one carpet cleaner i should get the extractor? I would like it to be able to clean upholstery as well...i know you have said good things about lemonator, and it actually says upholstery too...im torn :)

EDIT: to answer your actual question, yeah, I'd probably try Extraction if you're just going to buy one, like the owner told me. Pretty weak dilution ratios too - a quart bottle of this stuff will last a long, long time.

To tell you the truth, I keep coming back to the "Super Duty" aerosol carpet and upholstery cleaner. Maybe it's because I like the aerosol can, I'm not sure, but this stuff works well for me, and I don't have to fiddle with diluting it. Just spray and go. The stuff that you mix up is certainly more cost effective, though.

    Super Duty

I haven't tried Extraction or Lemonator on upholstery, just on carpets. Both work well. I've got a spray bottle of Lemonator (4:1) under the kitchen sink for around the house as well.

Hmm, this brand sounds very interesting. I guess I'll pick up Ultra Gloss as my next maintenance wash when I'm out of my current ones. Super Foam also sounds interesting but I just picked up 10 64oz bottles of Eagle One Car Washes for $1.33 each at Parts America for my foam cannon as I tend to go crazy with the dilutions and whatnot

Has anybody here tried the Poly Protectant? It has a similar product description as FK108 and the FK108 looks amazing on tires imo. If you guys have how is the durability?
