I am wrapping up a detailers domain and chemical guys order currently, and I am having a hard time deciding on a car wash soap for my weekly wash.

Currently I am considering purchasing either ONR from DD or maxi suds from CG. It doesnt really ever get cold enough where i live make the advantages of ONR outweigh a conventional wash.

I am also welcome to any other suggestions of car wash soaps available at either DD or CG. Your advice or opinions are very much appreciated :worship2:

I only wash with ONR now and it doesn't matter if it is hot or cold out. ONR took a little getting use to but, I couldn't imagine life without it. Nothing beats being able to wash a car in the garage when the weather is crap outside!!!

get the gallon of ONR, along with washing you can mix up your own clay lube and detail spray.

have you tried CG Glossworkz shampoo? It is not on their website, I requested a sample and really liked it...1 oz per 5 gallons dillution ratio, I like it better then CWC, CWG, or Maxi Suds...If you are placing an order with CG, at least request a sample of it...

Hey there. crazy weather we've been having lately, its been preventing me from washing my car. :crash: However, im looking forward to heading up to Tahoe, they were supposed to recieve over 10 feet of snow. I was surprised to see that even mount Diablo has some snow on it.

That sounds interesting. I will look into it. Based on your experience, is it gentle on LSP's?

I really like my Majestic Solutions Ultra Gloss!! Really nice stuff. Its not CG or DD. MJS's shipping is kinda pricey too. Which really sucks!

thats another soap that i hope to try out in the future. hopefully some of the vendors will start carrying it. I always hear nothing but good reviews about that product

From what I hear, its like a family run business and they're really not looking to go "mainstream". They seem to have the customer base they're happy with where they are now. I dont see it happening.

If you would like a sample, shoot me a pm and i'll send you some.

It was pretty genle, and felt pretty lubed too (unlike CWC or CWG, you always feel they need more lubricity).
Chemical Guys US has it, but it's not on their website for some reason. This one is of UK site - The finest car care and automotive detailing products available.
I heard about it on DW and decided to try it. VXRMarc used it in video posted on CG website...

Adams soap is great. I like the suds it can produce.

For a conventional maintenance wash, opt car wash is my favorite.

That's true. At least, as last I talked with Phil about it, they didn't sound interested in getting "big." Who knows, it might be a production capacity issue. Impossible to say.

Optimum soap does have some killer suds. The suds seem endless. No matter how much brake dust is in there the suds just keep coming.

I agree, on dust2glory's advice, I mixed a bottle 50/50 with Optimum Carwash soap and DG 901. :headbang: Talk about suds that won't quit.

If you call them up I am pretty sure you are able to order it. They have lot of stuff that they sell that is not on the online store.
