Once I settled in the crash, BMW Assist came on, confirmed my location, called a tow truck, called the CHP, and contacted my wife automatically.

I am really appreciating Bimmers now. I was contemplating on getting my wife a Cayanne or MDX, but I think X5 is a more likely candidate now....

 

Doesnt look like the car is going to be totalled, since the entire front end is fine. The engine alone is around 40K I think? So my hopes of getting a new M5 may be out of the question.
