    i cant seem to get this stuff to work... tried it with my makita on a LC Purple wool pad and orange pad, and it kept flashing off the paint before i could even go over it twice! what pads are you guys using with it???

    Add a little more to what you are using. I use it with a wool pad. Foam takes a little more time to learn with it.

    yeah you use alot more polish, but the correcting time kinda makes up for it!:support:

    Have you tried using it by hand? Works great. But yes, with a machine, it's very difficult. Flashes within seconds on an orange pad and the Flex.

    I know some guys have started mixing it with Optimum compound to get a longer working time. I need to get some soon but Im happy with my Presta Ultra Cutting Creme. It finish's decent like M105 is supposed to.

    You need to adjust the amount you're using, dont spread it first, set the buffer to whatever speed you want to work it with (speed 6 on PC, ~1500 for rotary), put the beads right on the paint, and just pick them up with the buffer as you go.

    M105 works well if you are used to using Meguiar's products. If you lay down a bead versus spreading the polish on the paint you will have far more luck. I have no idea why... just the way it works
