I've started to used my foam gun more and more and have depleted my stock of 1Z Perls. I've been spoiled by ONR for the past few years and am not sure what's good for the gun anymore. Perls was good for the classic 2BM, but not so much for foaming. What do you all suggest for a high suds car wash? Thanks - Jason
Maintenance Foam: CG Maxi Suds First time strip/detail: CG Citrus Wash + 1oz CG Maxi Suds + few squirts of 4:1 APC. I use Megs APC, it foams like hell.
Xtreme foam is nice but pricey, personally I use Optimum Car Wash in my foam gun and I'm pleased with the results.
From my experience foaming is definitely harder on the LSP than 2BM no matter what soap I use. I'm ok with it because I think it leads to less swirls and it gives me a excuse to rewax! :headbang:
A couple ounces of Dg 901 and one or a couple ounces of maxi suds, cg wash clear, or the majestic solutions super foam. This to me has been a great combo that hasn't stripped the lsp on the paint.
Thanks all! I went with a gallon of CG Maxi Suds. I was considering the citrus variant, but it seemed too aggressive for LSP longevity. Anyway, it should arrive in time for me to give it a go this weekend and see how Reload's holding up.
