Tire dressing. Prefer it in a gallon size (but not critical), and gel type if possible. I guess Im one of the rare guys who like this look on tires. Thx
how wet do you want it???If it's too wet, it will look too cheap. Are you on a budget???gallon size price varies...
what helps get a shine - very good tyre cleaner/conditioning Advantage Soft n supple with a little Driven to perfection silicone free VRL with a contour foam pad leave on, put gel or spray over the top a few times Meg's hot shine which claims to be non silicone (must be vegetable oil and glycerin based), is not available in gallon size but does give a very blingy shine. I was given some yesterday to test. Unless a manufacturer makes a non oil,non silicone, solvent free gel or spray product, I will probably not dress my tyres at all. if it doesn't keep the tyres looking black regardless of rain, sun, hail, etc. I won't use it everything at the moment dies out at some point and the tyres go back to a brown finish radical I suppose but thats my style never settle. keep pushing for something better
AA Extreme is pretty crazy as yukon said. I feel as if it depends on the color of the car if it looks cheap or not. On neutral colors like white, silver, and black I feel like a deep dark shine is needed. On others, not so much. Don't worry, you aren't alone.
Megs Hyper Dressing, I diluted it 1-1 the first time I used it and it was still very glossy. At that ratio I washed after a week and a half and the tires were not as shiney but still a nice black matte sheen after washing. I didnt use any chemicals either, I just used high pressure water. As far as sling I let it sit all night to avoid this or wipe it down but I would imagine that the FBI could follow your sling trail for miles at 1-1.
