Thats great new Phil. Its definitely a product that all rotary users should have it. It makes such a big difference.

 

How big is that backing plate? Is it for 6.5" pads or 8" pads. Looks like an awesome piece, just wish it wasn't so expensive. That said, I have wanted one since the first time I seen them.

 

6.5 inch I wouldn't go bigger than that.

Is it for use with a 6.5" pad? I always use either 6.5" or 4" pads with my rotary. I only own a few 8" pads and rarely ever use them. Maybe one day if I get a boat or one of those old Caddies to detail with the mile long hood I would have a use for them.

I usually like my bp's slightly smaller than my pads also. When you put a 6.5" pad on it how much room do you have before the edge of the BP?

 

not to be a novice...but... i am is this something i would want for a pc?

 

They are only made for the rotary.
