This client reached out to me for his previous daily driver, a stunning and luxurious Lexus LS460L (long wheel base). He requested a full paint correction, wheel removal/cleaning/coating, Opti-Coat Pro on all paint and trim, and full interior cleaning and reconditioning. Wheels were also coated with Opti-Coat Pro. This job, like the car, was quite large and a great many hours went into it over the course of a week. To assist in the large scope of this job, Ryan was out again to lend a hand.

I didn't have a lot of time to document the paint correction process, so for the purpose of this writeup I am focusing the documentation on some other areas that usually get very little viewing.

I picked up the vehicle and this was its condition.

The wheels were in quite poor shape

In progress. Each wheel took considerable time to restore.

Old wheel weight adhesive still to be removed

    Wheel wells received tidying

Welcome to the front wheels..........These took even longer to restore. Once the surface brake dust was removed, great effort was given to remove the deep staining.

The difference made by cleaning the back of the spokes in addition to the barrels (which still will take more work).

    Deep RIDS to be removed

Base of doors had evidence of repainting, yet were very thin on material. Very careful work was done to remove the defects here. Go to aggressive too quickly and you may create a strike-thru.

A "50/50" shot of compounding dust ....was starting to get thick.

    The interior was pretty grimy

Driver's door handle cup area. Very badly scuffed up over the years. 100% improvement wasn't possible, but a substantial improvement was achieved.

Pillars were in rough shape as well but the turnaround was good.
