Phil, you did that car, customer and car some serious justice. the stance on that thing is sick. I love that color. How did the exaust sound? Those M cars are such a great upgrade over the regular BMW stock. I have never seen a 1M or M1 yet. The last M1 I remember looked like a DeLorean. I know I am an old man!

Dave has some pics of a 1M we did last week(Alpine White) that are very nice, he can drop them in here when he can as there are over 400 pics he took while he was out here for Pebble Beach events.

Have another car I am going to use the body wrap on(since Dave left the bottle here and did not pack it up for his return back to Joisy.....won't need it with the hurricane bearing down on him) so I have it (Winning....).

Well today I was finally able to make time to use Wolfs Chemicals Deironizer Decontamination Gel and apply Bodywrap after. It took me about 9 hours to get it all done because I had to quick detail, clay, deironize, pressure rinse, dry, IPA, Compounded repainted sections with Mothers Professional Heavy Duty Compound aka 81232 via PCXP with 5.5" Surbufs, Polished with Menzerna 203S via PCXP with 5.5" LC Hydrotech Tangerines, another 2 IPA wipe downs, applied Bodywrap, then vacuumed and detailed the interior as well. I would have done a write up but I didnt take any before pictures only a few after pictures. I had to go to the car wash up the street to use their lighting so I could apply Bodywrap, because it got late on me and I didnt want to pull out my halogens and Bissell vacuum to do the interior so I just went there LOL. I did notice I go some hazing but I dont think it was because the surfaces were dirty because I did two full IPA wipe downs prior to applying Bodywrap, I think it was because I might of applied a bit more than necessary because I did get some sweating like Jesse stated would happen if you over apply it. When I got the hang of it, it seemed to completely disappear into the paint. But the good thing is I still have about 90+ % of the 150ml bottle left so I think I am ok and didnt over do it by too much I probably used 15 ml to do the entire GT, which I think is amazing that it goes a long way:) Sorry no sun pics since I just applied it tonight, but hey this is Wolfs Chemicals and so I think joining the wolf pack at night time where its at!

Is there a shelf life on Body Wrap? I only have 2 cars and would hate to waste what I don't use

Daaaaaamn Danny, looking good buddy! Love me some Stangs! Dr. Jay, the shelf life is 2 years, but we figure it will be good for longer than that, too :)

I woke up to a horrible surprise. It sprinkled last night and was a little windy so now the mustang looks like crap. I hope this didn't ruin the coat of bodywrap since you told me it cant get wet until 24 hours pass.:( Can I quick detail it with Prima Slick? Or do you suggest another option or am I going to have to re coat the mustang?

Thanks Jesse, order will be placed. Your Wheel Cleaner works great also, just gave it a whirl last week on my 135 and it seems very good. I'll have to see how the protection hold up

"like crap" like as in it has water spots, or "like crap" as in it has completely ruined the finish?? Yeah you shouldn't get it wet for at least 24 hours, but we say that because it's like the expiration date on milk: It says "July 12" but we know that it's still good for a week after that :). 24 hours is the optimal time, but this will vary from regions because of humidity, temperature, etc. so I guess you just need to check it! Don't add any waxes, sealants, QD's, etc. to Body Wrap because you will ruin the nano coating it's formed. Wait until you can wash it again, then check it!

Cheers Jay, thanks for the support, buddy! Glad you like the wheel cleaner! Which one do you have?
