Wondering if anyone has tried these new pads yet. They look interesting:

those do look interesting... i just wonder when they'll realize people seem to prefer 5-6in pads now a days

Weird concept... wouldn't that cause some kind of uneven polishing with that sweet spot?

they look very very expensive..but that's probably due to the long life of the product and since it is new the R&D..also 7inch pads are big..i like the 5-5.5 inch range and the smaller 3 inch pads for small spots..for that kind of money i will pay all day for 3m uk pads..or just rather stick with flat lc pads..

nonetheless..i can't wait to hear a review on them and the idea looks sweet..only thing is i would be worried about those slitted pads getting caught and ripping something off or destroying the pad b/c it got caught in something.. seems like you could really jewel the finish if the pads retain moister that much more than a flat lc pad or our other favorite lc pad..either way this is very interesting indeed.too bad they aren't in smaller sizes.

Expensive? They are 11 bucks for one pad. I thought that was about normal? I'm guessing you were looking at the 26.95 price. That's for a package of 3.

+1 on wishing they came in smaller sizes. I wouldn't have much use for a 7" pad. Hopefully the smaller sizes are part of the plan.

  6. There's a review on AG about them. I was sent these pads to do a review, but since I have a PC, and they are 7" pads, I sent them on to another member who has a rotary and could get better use out of them.

ooooh. they make a purple one

need to make 4" and 5.5" pads though.

    nothing wrong about the price.

If they make them in a size that's more friendly for my Metabo, I'll definitely try them out! However, I really do love my 3M UK pads, hehe.

I've got some on the way and will review them as well once they are here.
